Outreach/Engagement Subcommittee

Mission:

Working collectively with the other subcommittees, The Outreach/Engagement subcommittee will be engaged in the outreach to those students (and their family members) who were inappropriately treated and harmed by the University of Mississippi as a result of their participation in the 1970 protest at Fulton Chapel. We will attempt to document their UM experiences, reconcile a disruptive collegiate experience, restore active alumni participation, encourage their frequent return to campus, engage them with current students, and employ their expertise in the University’s diversification efforts.
